Kenneth Gann Purcell Sr. 88 of Stockbridge Ga passed away February 15, 2013. Kenneth was a member of Rainbow Community Church of God for 65 years, retired from Lockheed Aircraft after 25 years and a WWII vereran of the US Army. He was predeceased by his wifes Myrtle Virginia Purcell, Ruth Irene Purcell and a daughter Beverly Diane Whidby. Survivors are a daughter Gail Hilton & husband Russ & son Kenneth Purcell & wife Phyllis. Three step-children Teresa & Mike Mason, Debbie & Jim Serrano and Mike & wife Julie Vinson. Eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two sisters Emerson Wright & Ruth Buchanon, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Rainbow Community Church of God. Pastor Randall Garmon will officiate. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday February 18th from 6-8 p.m. His body will line in state at the church one hour prior to the service
