Loving mother of Kathy Wilson, Petite Garrett (Travis), Steve Wilson (Jackie). She is also survived by beloved grandchildren: Craig, Ann, Michael, Ben, Amanda, Jana, Jeremy and Jarrett, great grandchildren: Emiri, Gavin, Haley, Garrett, Peyton and Weston, her sisters, Shirley Gattis, Sara Ann Conner, Gloria Owens, loving family and friends.

Lavern retired with over 40 years of service from Sears & Roebuck. She made friends easily and was loved by all who knew her. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 1 p.m. Entombment will immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
