Peggy was an amazing wife, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother whose life was centered around the family she loved so deeply. Her greatest joy was spending time with those closest to her, and she had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for.
She had a deep love for music and dancing, and her joyful spirit could light up any room. Peggy’s warmth, laughter, and kindness made her the heart of her family. She was truly a light in the lives of those who knew her, and her love will continue to live on in the memories she created with her family.
She is survived by her loving children, son Van Emberger and his two sons, Van Emberger and Preston Emberger, and daughter Toni Emberger - mother of two daughters, Tiffani Greene, her husband Nathan Greene, and their son Colson Greene; and Taylor Draper, her husband Andrew Draper, and their three children.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Cheri Lynn Lemmons, wife of her late brother Billy Lemmons, also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.
Peggy will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love, joy, and light she brought into the lives of her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Peggy is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Lou, her son Jeff, her four sisters, and her two brothers.
“If love alone could have kept her here, she would have lived forever.”
