I was fortunate enough to first meet Rachel and Larry when we all started at Roosevelt High School where we graduated in 1958. I have always held them both in high regard, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing them over the years at our class reunions and lunches in Georgia that Lynda and I were able to make. Rachel was a very special person in all our lives and we will miss her greatly. May the Lord provide His solace to her family.

To my high school sweetheart you were a special young lady. Always ready to have fun. You and Larry were always at our luncheons and ready to help out we enjoyed the class luncheons at your lake house. I will miss that beautiful smile the funny laugh and of course my special hug. Love you sweets. JW Mitchell

Rachel was one of the prettiest and sweetest girls in our Roosevelt High Class of 1958. I will always remember her for always being helpful to other classmates. Larry was real lucky to have such a wonderful wife. Ann Cowan Messina

My wife and I so remember Larry and racheal , getting to know them, knowing them, visiting with them was a high light for my wife and I. We so miss them and sometimes I look over next door and kinda expect them to be there. We only meet a small number of special people in our journey thru our life and these two were very special.

I recall what an amazing baker Rachel was! She made delicious baked goods and holiday appetizers that we sampled at Jennifer’s holiday gatherings. Jennifer and Rachel hosted a mother/daughter Christmas gathering. It was special as we came with our mothers and had the opportunity to meet these amazing women that were central to our lives. Then Jennifer would make her mother’s Lava Cake which was so delicious that I asked Jennifer to make it for my birthday. Rachel was a wonderful person and she raised two beautiful children. She leave a legacy of a life well lived and a tight knit family that will cherish her memory.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and I am sending wishes of peace and healing. With love, Katherine
