Richard Harold Segrest Sr.

Richard (Harold) Segrest Sr. age 82 of Stockbridge, Ga. passed away June 6, 2010. Harold was predeceased by his parents Henry Claude Sr. and Zeta Blanch May Segrest. He was a member and deacon of Bouldercrest Baptist Church, retired from CSX Railroad as a clerk after 36 years service, was an avid gardener and a mason in Shorter, Al. Survived by his wife Betty Langford Segrest, two children Mary Angeline (Angie) & Jack McLeod, Stockbridge, Ga. and Richard Harold (Rick) Jr. & Elizabeth Segrest, Montgomery, Al. Two grandchildren Chad Ryan McLeod and Mary Alexandria Segrest. Two sisters, Mary Agnes Cooper, Gulf Shores, Al, and Hattie Louise Toney, Tucker, Ga. One brother, Henry Claude Segrest Jr., Tuskegee, Al. Several nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 9, 2010 at 11 A.M. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward 376 Fairview Rd. Stockbridge Ga. 30281 770-474-1231. Rev Ed Galbreath will officiate. Interment at 4 P.M. CST in the Greenwood Serenity Cemetery in Montgomery Al.
