Richard Stanley Summers

He was a Master Certified Ford Mechanic for 29 years and for 8 years he worked for the state of Georgia's prison system teaching prisoners how to work on cars so they would have a trade when they left prison. Ricky loved his wife, children, and his grandchildren. He had a loving heart and he never met a stranger. He was a hard worker who loved to work on cars and go fishing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He touched so many lives and he will be greatly missed by all who know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wayne & Peggy Hollinsworth and one sister; Donna Summers.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife; Karen Summers, his children; Christopher (Charity) Summers, Michael (Melissa) Summers, Jessica (Ronnie) Brown and Kimberly Summers, his grandchildren; Breanna, Nicholas, Dillon, Nathan, Candyce, MaryEllen, Kaydee, Lucas, Joyanna, Liam, Connor, Nataleigh and Hunter, his siblings; Keith Summers, Linda Ivester, Rebecca Summers, and Tommy Summers, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 12 PM to 1 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home located at 376 Fairview Rd in Stockbridge, GA. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Wednesday. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
