I know Ruth and the Davis family through my growing up with her son Alan. I remember hanging out out their house and enjoying her cooking. Everything fresh and homemade. The holiday candies were amazing. Ruth, Billy, and Alan will never know how much they helped me through troubling times. I’ve tried my best to return the love. I’ve gotten to know Ruth better over the last few years. I lost my mom and she lost her son. So in essence I gained a new mom and she a new son. The last thing Alan said to me was “ I love you man. Take care of things around here and my mom.” I hope I did him justice in his request. I will miss her as much as Alan and Billy. I pray they are together again with our Lord in his heavenly kingdom. Rest In Peace.

My Aunt Ruth was an elegant lady who was sweet and kind to me whenever I saw her. She and Uncle Billy made the most delicious fudge and it gave them great joy to give this treat to so many people every Christmas.  My Aunt Ruth loved to cook and opened her lovely home to my family for Thanksgiving several times when we lived on the East Coast. My three children, now young adults, still remember the basement with the pool table and Aunt Ruth's beauty parlor. When I was a little girl I always thought my Aunt Ruth had the most beautiful hair. Aunt Ruth and Uncle Billy stayed in love for so many years. Their devotion to each other will always be an inspiration to me. I am most blessed that she was in my life and will forever treasure this wonderful lady. 

I remember the days we came to visit,it was so wonderful seeing everyone and the love of family.  I will miss it dearly

So many memories of my nana. My favorite memories are going to nana's house on holidays. Nana always made the holidays extra special for her grandchildren. I remember the excitement I use to have around the holidays, especially Christmas. Nana would always make loads of chocolate candy and let us eat as much as we wanted! So many wonderful memories. I love you nana and you will be missed. 

So many memories to remember about my Grandmother. Holidays were the best at her house always filled with yummy smelling food and all the candy she made. Birthday parties and sleepovers with whatever our hearts desired. Spending the summer there by the pool and getting the best fresh homemade lemonade and chicken nuggets. She and Pawpaw always did love us so much. She will truly be missed. We know you're in heaven smiling down watching over us. Miss you dearly. 

Remembering all the good times we had at our Grandpa Anderson’s House!  Our thoughts and prayers for all the family are with you!! May God give you Comfort!

Loving mother of Tina Davis, she is also survived by grandchildren: Christy Vandervoet (Mark), Shelly Brown, Jennifer White, her great grandchildren; Mason, Kurtis, Miranda, and Gabby, her siblings;Emma Lou, Irene, Lewis, Lowell, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Melissa, nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Buddy Anderson.
