Ruth Henry

Ruth Henry age 85 of Lawrenceville passed away Thursday February 3, 2011. Born in White County, Cleveland, Ga.on January 21, 1926 to her deceased parents Ed and Ocie Mae Palmour. Mrs. Henry has been a member of Mt. Carmel Church since 1947. She was a strong witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved Bible studies and singing. She loved her family very much. She has traveled all over the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. She is survived by a daughter; Angie Henry. 2 sons; Ric and Steven ( Tony ) Henry. 5 grandchildren; Sunny, Patrick, Grant, Anabelle and Evie Henry. 4 great grandchildren; Parker and Cooper Kane, Lily and Piper Henry. Sister; Janelle Cross. 2 brothers; Lawrence Palmour and Jerry Henry. Mrs. Henry is preceded in death by her husband; Walter Howard Henry. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Henry officiating with interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jack Ballard Church Builders, 614 Beaver Ruin Rd.
