Stephen Austin George Goddard age 87 of Jasper GA passed away on May 24, 2012. Stephen is predeceased by his wife Sheila Spence Goddard and great granddaughter Kaylee Goddard. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Ellenwood, and the American Legion Post in Jasper, GA. He also served in the British Armed Forces for 28 years and a veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife: Betty Leslein Goddard, daughter; Sheila-Marie and her husband Johnny Johnson, sons; Stephen D. and his wife Christine Goddard, Robin A. and his wife Carolyn Goddard, Christopher and his wife Fridah Goddard, John and his wife Hillary Squires, grandchildren; Stephen D. Scott Goddard, Robert Alexander Goddard, Stephen Lloyd Goddard, Andrew James Goddard, Johnathan D. Goddard, Joshua Lee Goddard, Everill Anne Faircloth, W. J. Faircloth III, Jeremiah Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Jr., Leah Johnson, Kelly Johnson, and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral service for Stephen will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
