Steve McDonald

Stephan Randall McDonald was born November 7, 1950 to the late James and Doris McDonald in Gastonia, North Carolina. He met and married his love of 40 years, Shelby McDonald and one son, Christopher was born to their union. Steve also helped to raise his niece Brittney and loved all of his family dearly. He worked for his brother Dean at his business, McDonald’s Collision Repair. He had a love for cars and motorcycles, but especially his red Corvette. Steve also spent lots of time gardening and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. James and Mrs. Doris McDonald, Steve was preceded in death by one brother, James Rick McDonald. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mrs. Shelby E. McDonald of McDonough, GA; one son, Christopher Stephan McDonald of McDonough, GA; one brother, Dean McDonald (Michelle) of Stockbridge, GA; and his niece, Brittney Loggins of Brooks, GA.

Family and friends are invited to gather in Steve’s honor at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home – Fairview Chapel on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 12:00PM. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM in the chapel of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281.
