WALKER, Thelma Thelma Joyce Chaney Walker age 88 of Atlanta passed away January 5, 2012. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Reeves David Walker, Sr. and daughter Patricia Gail Kelley. She is survived by two children Linda Diane Shultz, Woodstock and Reeves David (Charis) Walker, Juliette; Four grandchildren Cindy Stewart, Michele Rios, Mandy Hart and Shane Watts; Six great grandchildren, one great great grandson, Brother Ray Chaney, Peachtree City; Sister Jane Cornett, McDonough; Several nieces and nephews. Thelma was a member of the Eastern Star and Metro Heights Baptist Church. Those that wish may send contributions to the Methodist Childrens Home in Macon, Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 7, 2012 at 4 p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor Jim Chidester will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m prior to the service.
