Thomas Chapman Kelly

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 21, 1935 to the late Thomas W. and Mary Elizabeth (Chapman) Kelly.

Thomas served in the Air National Guard at the fueling station among other duties from 1953 to 1961.

Thomas received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Atlanta Law School in 1957. He was also a graduate of Georgia State University in 1970, receiving a BS degree in Business Administration with a major in Real Estate.

He was in the banking industry for many years doing every aspect of banking from repossessing cars, issuing bank cards, making loans, to managing several bank branches until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Sylvia C. Grant Kelly on December 14, 2018.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery T. Kelly (Rhonda), of Milledgeville; his daughter, Suzanne Kelly, of Ellenwood; his grandson, Grant T. Kelly (Mackenzie), of Milledgeville; brothers: James Hulett Kelly, of Cartersville; Will Ross Kelly (Patricia), of Snellville; Bobby D. Kelly (Fay), of Stockbridge; many nieces and nephews.
