I miss our late night chats at Waffle House after you did my hair. Talking about our kids, our life, struggles, blessings and most importantly our Jesus! I miss you everyday and I love you forever! Looking forward to seeing you and my Daddy soon!

            The Promise 
When Jesus raised Himself up from the dead
The apostles remembered it was like he said,
If you destroy this Temple, I will raise it in three days 
It wasn't His first time that the dead were raised 
When Lazarus died, Jesus brought him back again
He loved him dearly, he was His friend
If we know Him and love Him, we know that it's true
Someday He will raise us up, both me and you
It will be like Easter morning
So for who is all this crying and mourning? 
If you live your life in Jesus words 
And don't be one of those people that follow the wrong herd
Jesus is making a place for you in Heaven He said 
Like a bride that is ready to be Wed
You'll live in the most beautiful place that ever could be
In true happiness and love deeper than the Sea
You can sing with the Angels, everyone will know the words to the song
Or you can visit with loved ones you haven't seen in so long
We can only imagine how nice it will be
But for me Jesus I want to sit with thy

To Pray for me so I can see them again!

Her friends were just like family to her. The most loving parts of Val could be seen in the way she loved God's animals.  She was happiest when she was around her fur babies. I loved that about her, because we love our fur kids like family.  I think a beautiful way to honor her memory would to donate to or adopt from a rescue or shelter.  You will find more love than your heart can contain. There's a precious little soul just waiting to embrace you today. RIP Val. We'll see you soon.

Words can not express how our hearts feel right now. From the first day I met you, I've called you Mom. Every holiday and sometimes just to talk , we made sure we called each other. You always remembered the kids birthdays. Hailey always called you Nana and you let Dyland call you that too. You helped me through so much over the years, being a "mom".  You loved us from the beginning and never stopped. 
You are missed so much already. You touched everyone's life that you met. 
We will forever carry you in our hearts.

I was in SHOCK when I got the news of Valerie passing. Such a sad loss of such a Wonderful Lady !!! Valerie was always' upbeat, positive and such a beautiful and loving Lady. The years that I was able to work with her at Hair Waves Studio were always pleasurable.  She was so Precious and always Smiling. Val will be missed and loved by all who knew her.  My Heart, Thoughts and Prayers go out to her entire Family and Friends. 


Val had such a tremendous love for her family. Her face would always light up as she talked about her children and grandchildren.  

Val was such a very special person with a very loving heart and a gentle and kind spirit which will be greatly missed.




Valerie came into my life when I was very young and had always showed me and my Mom (Julie) so much love, care, and tenderness.  She was someone I knew I could always rely on and trust. In highschool  Valerie surprised me one day and had gotten me a rescue dog who I shared many years with. I am so unbelievably thankful to have known her. 

Always a sweet and caring strong woman one of the great people that I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing for along time. She raised such a great bunch of kids all of them are really great people so that reflects on her and how great of a person she was she will be missed

As a little girl I always remember being around Aunt Val when she was with Uncle Don at grandma  and grandpas house. They lived 4 apartments away from us and we did everything  with them. As we got older we were able to stay with them and she was so gracious in taking us in.. Years have come and gone she was my back up blood donor and my lamaze coach  when the boys were born. I'm sure that she was frustrated with me from time to time but at Dan's funeral it was so nice that she was able to spend time with me to catch up on life.. I loved her with all my heart . She was funny and I loved having her come out to the farm when cameron was little. She hung dryer sheets on her to help keep the bugs from bothering her. We laughed and I told her I've never seen that before but I knew how much she cared about the health and safety of us all as kids. I will miss her but now mom has another family member to play pinochle with in heaven.. 
Heaven sure is filling up with some incredible people this year .. I'm sad to see them go but they must be having one heck of a family reunion.. Amen 

There are countless memories I could share about Val, she was one of the most wonderful, loving, caring people I knew! She was like a second mom to me and I am grateful we kept in touch all of these years even though I moved to TN.. I will always remember going to see her at Connie George’s Rodeo Store while she was working and her beautiful warm smile that always greeted us!! I remember spending the night at her house and her treating me like her own kid always!!! God truly gained an Angel!!! Val you will be missed but never forgotten!! Until we meet again!!!

Tim, my thoughts are with you and your entire family. We grew up on the same st and i remember riding bikes back n forth and meeting your Mom while we were out playing. I lost my Mom on the 12th of Jan and I'm sharing in your loss and your pain. A mothers love and support is stronger than any other. May god bless you and your family and bring you peace during this difficult time.

Thank you dear friend for showing how life should be done. You loved everyone you met especially the kids and had a tender word for every hurting soul. I can't believe you are gone  to soon.  I always appreciated your faithfulness. You did tribulation trail for years and my photo is of us serving. Rain or shine. You where there for everyone. 

To the Nunz Family,
I would see Valerie at bus services, meetings and  passing during routes. Valerie would always have a smile on her face, dressed well and hair in place, which I admired. I  pray God will strengthen you at this difficult time. My deepest sympathy, Tangela Clayman 

She was my friend,  we drove  out of Austin Rd Elementary  School together.  After unloading,  We would go to the cafeteria and purchase Orange Juice. Set and drink it and talk for about 10min.  This was and everyday thing for us.  I will truly miss her. And if there is a heaven,  I know she made it there..                         Love you Valarie 

Ms Valerie was my Sophia's bus driver and her friend at CCS. We only allowed her to ride the bus like a big girl cause  Ms Valerie could watch her and make sure she was ok. That might not sound like a lot but to a Mom whose youngest is dying go ride the bus, and you are scared to death of letting her out of your sight, Ms Valerie had my babies back I knew she was ok. She loves Sophia and Sophia loved her.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.  Our prayers go out go her family. 

I love you and I will miss you my precious friend/ sister! I pray for Gods comfort to cover your kids, grandkids, mom and all of the many friends who love you sooo much. When your family and all of us may feel like we can’t move forward or it feels like it’s more real just to realize, it is, God will step in to hold us up. God will help us breathe. Ms. Valerie will truly be missed.  She was a great person and I sincerely enjoyed working with her.  

Valerie was a true friend that never would never let you down, I will miss our phones, every day. I absolutely adore her, she was and always will be that My Special friend, that will hold a piece of my heart,  Always and Forever. We share the same birthdate, she always told me never let anyone know  the year she was born. I never did. I received a text  from Valerie in December, she text "Love Yall"  and she met it. I know you are with or Lord and Savior. Fly High my sweet friend...I love you!!! 

I only knew you for a short time but enough to know what a terrific lady and mother you were. My condolences to the family and to Lisa. May you rest in peace!

I always remember going to her house when we would visit our family in GA. She use to cut my hair when we would visit. She was a wonderful aunt. Even though I haven't seen her in a long time we were friends on Facebook. She will forever remain in my heart. Prayers go out to her children and her grandchildren. May she rest in peace.  Say hi to my dad for me Aunt Valerie.

To Valerie’s Family,  I only knew her for 4 short years.  Valerie was a very good person.  It was always a pleasant conversation when we talked.  She was proud of her children and loved her grandkids.  When ever she spoke of any of her family she smiled.  I worked with Valerie and will miss seeing her. Valerie was a member of the Disciples of Antioch Motorcycle Ministry. When she was asked to handle a task for an event, she never hesitated and gave herself to complete the task. She was looked up to by many of us and I truly loved her and will always remember her. I love you pretty lady and now do what you do beside God. 

Val was a special lady and she will always hold a place in my heart! She was such an influence for me when I worked as a teen at Connie George’s. She was a beautiful soul and I will always cherish the special memories.

Aunt Val was instrumental in  my development from childhood  to college years. She taught me the importance of forgiveness  and to have strength and confidence in my actions.  As an adult she was just not my Aunt, but also my friend.  She would always tell me we got along so well because we have very similar personalities.  Love you Aunt Val, and I can hear her  reply in my head-“love you more”
