Van is survived by his wife, Judith Davis; daughter, Virginia Colter and her husband AJ; step-daughter, Jennifer Smith and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Jesse and Jackson Colter; step-grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Andrew, and Ana; brothers, Gregory and Terry Davis; sisters, Donna Jean Ward, and Evelyn Lambert. Van served his country for 45 years with the United States Army.
Graveside services will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 2 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, GA. Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel are in charge of the arrangements.
