Loving mother of Ava, Kaye, Bobby and Christie. She is also survived by grandchildren; Arica, Joshua, Wesley, Aaron, Robby, and Samantha, grandchildren by marriage, Ben, Parker, and Landon, and her great-grandchildren; Adrien, Reese, Raely, Amelia, Aiden and Kinsley. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
Jean loved spending time with family and friends. While raising her beloved family, she also managed the family farm horse boarding business for over 16 years. After retiring, she loved to RV, traveling all over the country enjoying God's creations. Her favorite past-time was enjoying a cup of coffee and good conversation. We always knew there would be good food on the table when one would visit, she never wanted anyone to go hungry. Jean's gardens flourished with beautiful flowers, reflecting her hard work and love of nature.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation with 10 person’s rotation in intervals on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where funeral service will immediately follow in our chapel, beginning at 1 p.m.
