Vickie Joyce James of Forest Park, Ga went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 15, 2016. Vickie would have been 63 on February 16, 2016 had she not lost her fight with cancer. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was a devout Christian and long standing member of Unity Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Michelle Byess in 2011. She is survived by her husband, Charles James of Forest Park, Ga, her grandchildren Halie and Ian Byess of Ellenwood, Ga, and her two brothers, Ted West of Locust Grove, Ga and Danny West of Fayetteville, NC.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Unity Baptist Church, 75 Valley Hill Road Stockbridge, Ga 30281.
Memorial service will be held at Unity Baptist Church on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2 pm.
