Adeline Mary Choi

Adeline Choi, 84, passed away August 22,2015 after a lengthy illness. She was born in 1930 in Grayhorse, Oklahoma to Theodore and Clara Wilson. After attending high school in Lawrence, Kansas, she became a registered nurse (RN) and then served in the United States Navy and United States Air Force. After completing her military service, Adeline became a homemaker and devoted herself to family. She also enjoyed travel and spending time with friends. In addition, she was an active member of the Northern California Osages and the Legion of Mary. Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Choi. She is survived by her daughter Carol Arata (Tony) of Fremont, CA; sons Stephen Choi of Stockton, CA and Kurt Choi of Fresno, CA. Also survived by beloved grandchildren, Kyle, Kyler, Shawn and Jacob as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family also wishes to thank and acknowledge her dedicated caregivers Terrell and Emily and Hospice of San Joaquin. A visitation and rosary will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel at 7676 Shoreline Drive in Stockton on Monday 8/31/2015 from 10am to 6pm with rosary beginning at 6pm A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 5882 North Ashley Lane in Stockton on Tuesday 9/1/2015 at 10am In lieu of flowers, donations in Adeline’s memory may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204 or www.hospicesj.org.
