Anthony L. Blanchard (Tony) passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2017 in Stockton, CA at the age of 70. Anthony L. Blanchard (Tony) was born on October 4, 1946; he grew up in Stockton, CA, went to Franklin High School, Delta College and graduated from UOP in 1971. He worked in the grocery business for 48 years was a successful store owner of Michael’s Market for over 20 years. Anthony (Tony) leaves behind his spouse Lupe Blanchard of 46 years and children Maria A. Blanchard, Anthony D. Blanchard, and Blair F. Blanchard, as well as a grandson Dominic C. Blanchard. Anthony (Tony) adored his family; he was truly an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be deeply missed. He had a passion for reading, enjoyed listening to Jazz and Old School Music, and loved playing card games with his longtime friends. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Blanchard family. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 12-4pm. A rosary will be said in his honor on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11am at DeYoung Memorial Chapel.
