Ms. Bernadette Charlsie Beal

Bernadette C. Suttle Walters Beal Born January 18, 1931 in Stockton CA, passed away peacefully at home in Manteca, CA on August 15, 2014. Bernadette was a retired cafeteria manager for Tyler Elementary School and enjoyed a second career at the San Joaquin Sheriff's Alternative Work Programs. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Stockton High School. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mae Suttle, sister Margaret Lewis, husband Raymond E. Walters, and oldest grandson Raymond E. Walters, III. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Beal, Sister Betty Reames (Burney), brother Charles Suttle (Marsha), her children Sandra Pilcher, Raymond E. Walters, Jr (Carolyn), and Timothy Walters (Melissa). Grandchildren Tanya Pilcher (Stephanie Geringer), Holly Stetson (Tod), Nicholas Walters (Andrea Virdell), Jessica Walters (Curtis McConnell), Steven Pointon, and Joseph Pointon, great-grandson Aaron Stetson and her precious little dog Fancy. Bernadette enjoyed family gatherings especially Easter, Christmas, and July 4th . Her favorite pastime was gardening. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Visitation for Bernadette will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel 601 N. California St. Stockton CA on Tuesday 8/19/2014 from 10am- 8pm.
