Brian Rowley, 62, passed away on August 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Stockton, CA, and raised in Linden, he carried the values of small-town roots with him throughout his life.
Brian was the kind of person who could light up a room the second he walked in. His smile was warm and contagious, his humor quick and genuine, and his passion for life unwavering. Friends and family lovingly called him “the mayor” because no matter where he went — across the country or even overseas — he always seemed to run into someone he knew.
For 41 years, Brian worked as an HVAC contractor, a career that reflected his incredible work ethic and skill. He was talented with his hands and took pride in building, fixing, and creating. Woodworking was one of his favorite pastimes, and many family and friends cherish the pieces he made
He had a love for traveling, camping, and attending RV rallies, and he could often be found with a good bourbon in hand while sharing a story about his latest adventure. A history enthusiast, Brian never missed a chance to visit a landmark or learn something new. One of his greatest joys was coaching baseball, where he mentored young athletes, built lifelong friendships, and left an imprint on countless lives.
Brian is survived by his father, Walter “Butch” Rowley; his wife, Karen; his children, Aaron and Danielle; his siblings; and his beloved dogs, Daisy and Csonk. He was preceded in death by his mother & step mother. Brian’s circle of friends was vast, and many of them became his chosen family — people he laughed with, traveled with, and stood by through every chapter of life.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Lodi Moose Lodge, 3824 E. Woodbridge Road, Acampo, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Brian by raising a glass, telling a great story, and cherishing time with those you love — just as he always did
