Cameron Allie DeShaun Gilliard-Allison

Cameron Allie-DeShaun Gilliard Allison was born September 30, 1999, in Oakland, California. He was the oldest of two children born to Jennifer Rei Banks and the only child born to Cameron Everett Allison.

Cameron accepted the Lord at a very early age. He had a giving and loving heart and never hesitated to help family and friends with whatever was needed. He regularly gave his time to volunteer to those in need in West Oakland. His charm and charisma allowed him to easily connect with his peers and establish long-lasting friendships. Although he often tried to maintain a serious expression, he is best known for his charming smile that would warm hearts and lift spirits.

Cameron developed a love for the game of football at an early age. Prior to high school, he played for the Manteca Jr. Buffalos and the Weston Ranch Ravens. During high school, he played for the Manteca Buffalos, Brookside Christian Knights, and most recently the Lincoln Trojans. His excellent abilities on the field allowed him to play both sides of the ball, as an offensive running back, defensive lineman, and linebacker. His passion for running the ball manifested in a punishing style that made it painful for any defender that had the misfortune of being in his path.

In addition to football, Cameron enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with friends. He spent countless nights playing a variety of video games with friends locally and a host of friends he met online. Prior to being introduced to football, Cameron gained notoriety for his dancing skills. Although he rebelled against it when he got older, his mother gave him the nickname "Toots" after watching him dance to the song, 'Toostie Roll'.

Cameron was preceded in death by his great grandmothers Marie Allison (Nana) and Omelia Hatcher (Granny), great grandfather Allie T. Hatcher (Papa), and grandfather Robert Allison (Papi). Left to cherish his memory are his mother and father; brother Kevin "Doobie-Do" McBrown Jr.; great grandmother Ella Dean Brown; grandparents Seena Allison, Jackie & Herold Gilliard, James Taylor, and Willie Banks Sr.; aunts and uncles Anthony Dixon, Nikosha Taylor, Natessa Taylor, Marie Gilliard, Asjah Gilliard, Sophia Allen, and Willie Banks Jr.; father figures David Alhaqq and Kevin McBrown Sr., and a host of extended family members and friends.
