

Dolores Puga, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After a long fulfilling life, Dolores passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 28, 2016, at the age of 95 in Stockton, California. Born an only child in Juchipila, Zacatecas to the late Hermenejildo Nunez and Natividad Enriquez. She is preceded in death by her husband Catarino Puga and son Robert Puga. She leaves behind her daughters, Rosalina Kinsman (David), Lupe Puga, and daughter-in-law Rita Puga. Dolores was loved and cherished by her 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Dolores first came to Santa Paula, California at the age of 7, she then moved to Walnut Grove with her parents. Dolores married Catarino Puga and eventually settled in Stockton, California with their three children. She retired from Tillie Lewis Cannery. She was an active and devoted member of St. George’s and St. Luke’s Parish. Dolores was greatly loved by her family and friends.
Friends and family are welcomed to attend the Visitation on Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 3 pm to 6:30 pm at Frisbie- Warren & Carroll Mortuary. A Rosary will follow the visitation at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 1 pm at the St. Luke’s Church and burial to follow at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
