

Dorothy Jeanette Froeliger August 2nd, 1919 - December 3rd, 2015 Dorothy was born in Stockton, CA to her parents Milton and Frances Boege who were also from Stockton. She graduated from Manteca High School and Humphrey’s Business College. She worked in Sacramento until she was married to Joseph Froeliger in 1940. They were married for 66 years. They enjoyed traveling the world together, playing in bridge groups, and going to the theatre with friends. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Morada, a board member of the Philomathean club, and belonged to the Iris club, the Morada Art and Garden club, and the August School PTA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Edward Froeliger, her son Edward Milton Froeliger, daughter Sharon Froeliger Lingemann, her sister Marion Luck, and her in laws Hazel, Delbert, and Earl. Her surviving family members are: her sister Joyce Patterson, her daughter in law Glenda Mahin and her husband Donald Mahin; her grandchildren/great-grandchildren Leimone and Tod Waite and their daughter Jenna Waite, Boege and Frances Lingemann, Dalu Lingemann and Dylan Eret, Jion and Heather Lingemann and their children Camille, Amelia, and Andrew Lingemann, Edward Froeliger and Franziska Pieren and their daughter Emily Froeliger, Frances and Tim Start; her in laws Bernard Froeliger, Paul and Lorraine Froeliger, Mary and Maurice Patterson; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was blessed to be part of a wonderful family and friends. She dearly loved them all. Services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11:00am at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, with a graveside following at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
