

Eileen is survived by her children Carrie Guadagnolo of Linden, CA, Craig Guadagnolo of Stockton, CA, stepchildren Doug Vaccarezza of Linden, CA, Cheryl Cavagnaro of Stockton, Carolyn Orgon of Stockton, CA, and Brian Vaccarzza of Sacramento, and sister Laura Hodgkinson of Lakeport, CA. She is preceded in death by her first husband William Louis "Bill" Guadagnolo and her second husband Guilio "Pete" Vaccarezza of Linden, California.
Eileen was born on October 18, 1941, in Lakeport, CA, to her parents Wilfred Covey and Rebekah H. Covey. She had one brother, Wilfred "Willis" Covey, who has passed away. Eileen graduated from Clearlake High School in Lakeport, California in 1959. She graduated from College of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, in 1963 with a BA degree in Elementary Education. She graduated from United States International University in San Diego with an MA in Education some years later.
She married her college sweetheart William Louis "Bill" Guadagnolo in 1963 and settled in Stockton, CA. Eileen began teaching for Stockton Unified School District that fall. In the next couple of years, the couple welcomed two children into their home. Eileen enjoyed her time as a loving mother, 4-H leader, CCD teacher, school volunteer aide, bookkeeper on her family farm and worked part time as a substitute teacher. Eileen's children remember her a a loving mother Who encouraged them to pursue their talents, interests, and goals. When her children began high school, Eileen went back to work full time as a first grade teacher and Elmwood Elementary School in Stockton Unified School District in Stockton CA. She held this position for more than 20 years.
Eileen's first husband passed away in 2000. She remarried Guilio "Pete" Vaccarezza in 2004. Eileen was active in many community clubs and organizations including the Stockton Choral, the Rebekah Lodge in Linden, CA, the CA Women for Agriculture and the Stockton Delta Pacifica Lions Club. She became the District 4-A1 Lions Club District Governor from 2017 to 2018. As a part of the Lions Club, Eileen enjoyed hosting Lions Youth Exchange Students from all over the world, making raviolis for her club's annual Ravioli and Chicken Fundraising Dinner, knitting hats for the needy, collecting school supplies for backpacks for needy school children and doing numerous other community service activities in her community. Eileen enjoyed traveling and singing. As a member of the Stockton Choral, Eileen spent several summers traveling all over Europe and singing with the other choral members in concerts in various cities in Europe.
Eileen's greatest passion was spending time with her family. She often cooked huge family meals for special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren Lilly, Rebekah, and Sara. She taught her children and grandchildren how to cook and sew and would attend various 4-H, musical and sporting events to support her children and grandchildren.
Eileen was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Linden, CA. Donations can be made in honor of Elieen to Lion Club International Foundation, MD-4 Lions Student Speaker Foundation, or Holy Cross Catholic Church.
A visitation for Eileen will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 18633 E Front St, Linden, CA 95236. A rosary will occur Monday, November 4, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 18633 E Front St, Linden, CA 95236. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 AM, 18633 E Front St, Linden, CA 95236. A committal will occur at Linden Cemetery, Cady Ln, Linden, CA 95236 Monday, November 4, 2024. A reception will follow at the Linden Lions Club. Fr. Bill Kraft will officiate the funeral ceremony. All are welcome to attend the celebration of Eileen's life.
