

Ida Giannini was born on August 23, 1924 and died on August 7, 2016. She was born in Roseville, CA. She moved to Stockton at an early age and lived here for the rest of her life. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Guido and Nella Mariani, her beloved husband Vasco Giannini, and daughter Jeannine Giannini Fonseca. She is survived by her sister Susie Frediani, her son Rick Giannini and his wife Marsha, 2 grandsons Richard Giannini and Kevin Fonseca, 2 grandaughters Christi Edwards and Nicole Rosenbusch, 2 great grandchildren Lexi and Gavino Edwards, 2 step grand children, and many nephews and nieces. She loved golf, bridge, and the flowers in her garden. She was a great and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to us all. She was “Nonnie”, our Nonnie. We will miss her and love her forever, never forgetting all she did for us. Good bye Ma & Nonnie. Her famous last words were, “I guess I’m stuck!”
Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 12th from 4pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at The Cathedral of the Annunciation on August 15th at 10am.
