

Born Tracy, CA April 26, 1929 was preceded in death by his parents Teodoro Pesetti and Natalina Tuccori and his brother Nilo Pesetti and sister Olga Cornelison. He attended local schools and graduated from Stockton High School in 1946. Shortly thereafter he enlisted in the US Navy. He graduated from University of San Francisco in 1976 Cum Laude with a BA in Criminal Justice. He joined the Stockton Police Department January 3, 1956 and retired as a captain in January 1984. As a police officer he worked in several divisions. He was the commander of the first Narcotics Task Force in San Joaquin County. He was very proud to be a member of the first graduating class of the DEA Academy in Washington DC in 1973. He taught criminal justice classes at San Joaquin Delta College and Skyline College in San Bruno. In his retirement he enjoyed many hobbies, the most of which were building two homes on the Pacific Coast. He finally returned to Stockton and spent his days golfing with friends or playing cribbage with his son Ted. He was a member of the Stockton Elks Lodge #218. He spent the last couple of years with his lifelong friend Joy Giannini, trying to beat her at cards. To whom we will be forever grateful. He will be remembered for the best carpet deals in town, telling endless stories, jokes and his over all zest for life. Survived by Natalie Passeggi (Gregory), Ted Pesetti (Gloria), Cynthia D'Amato (Gaetano); grandchildren: Elysha and Tracee Passeggi, Moe Arnaiz, Pete and Dre D'Amato; great grandchildren: Ella and Leo Bartlett, Orianna Arnaiz, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation from 1:00- 4:00 pm, Thursday January 22, 2015 at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. Funeral Mass: 1:30 pm Friday January 23, 2015 at St. Bernandette's Church, 2544 Plymouth Rd., Stockton CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Plymouth Square Retirement Community, 1319 N.
