Jesse is survived by his wife of 31 years Juanita Ann Soria (Monges) of Stockton, California and his children Jesse Anthony Soria Jr. and Jacob Benjamin Soria both of Stockton, California. His parents, Jesse Benjamin Soria of Tracy, California and Jovita Soria of Michoacan, Mexico, his sisters Debbie Soria Rodriguez (Manuel Rodriguez Jr.) and Cathy Soria Villalpando (Raymond Villalpando) both of Stockton, California.
Jesse was born on October 26, 1965 in French Camp, California, to Jesse and Jovita Soria. He attended Saint Mary’s High School and married his lifelong love Juanita Soria, on July 25th, 1992. Jesse started working at the Port of Stockton in 1984 and became a member of the International Longshore Warehouse Union (ILWU) of Local 54 in 1997 as a Longshoreman and became known as 20815, dedicating 30 years of his life on the waterfront. Over the years the couple both welcomed their sons Jesse and Jacob into their life. Jesse was a devoted family man with a love for various hobbies such as camping, barbecuing, and watching football as a lifetime Raiders fan. Jesse will be remembered as a dedicated, generous, and hardworking man. Jesse’s passing was a great loss to his loved ones, who will miss him dearly, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication that will never be forgotten.
A Visitation for Jesse will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St, Stockton, California 95202. A Rosary will follow Monday, April 1, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St, Stockton, California 95202. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, California. A Committal will follow Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, California.
