Those who knew Ken knew he had such a "Happy-go-lucky personality" you couldn't visit Ken without him giving you a tour of his garden, sharing family photos especially his collection of photos with the local Elvis impersonator. Ken also loved going to casinos, watching his old westerns and his WWF wrestling. Ken retired from Safeway meatpacking Company after 32 years. Ken will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Lorraine Phillips of 39 years, his son Curtis Phillips, stepdaughter Kimberly Juarez(Martin) stepson Christopher Rouppet as well as his loving grandchildren Christopher Rouppet, Katelyn Rouppet (Heather) Summer Phillips, Chelsea Rouppet and Brandi Mullin (Tayler) and one great granddaughter Blake Rouppet along with many dear friends Ken had. Ken was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle Brandt his grandparents Minnie and Elias Phillips his son Gary Phillips and his granddaughter Kathleen Rouppet.
Service will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel - 601 N. California St in Stockton on Thursday March 2nd 2023 - with a Viewing at 10:00 o'clock, a Chapel Service at 11:00 o'clock and Burial will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery - 719 E. Harding Way in Stockton.
