Larry Lee Lagua

Larry was an avid fan of NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt Sr. as his all-time favorite driver, followed by Dale Jr. He was a fan of the L.A. Lakers, L.A. Rams, and L.A. Dodgers, but the sport he enjoyed playing most was soccer. He also loved watching his grandchildren participate in their various activities. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly fishing with his brother and nephews, camping with his kids, and his family's annual Christmas Tree cutting. He worked for Polar Water as a Delivery Supervisor. He moved on to work in maintenance for Stone Brothers, which gave him his great handy-man skills.

Larry is survived by Nita Lagua, his wife of 38 years; his four children: Christopher Lagua, Athena Antonio, Laura Respicio, and Joseph Lagua; his seven grandchildren: Anneliese Antonio, Ariston Antonio, Darien Respicio, Ryan Marie Antonio, Christopher Ryan Lagua, Audra Respicio, and Atticus Respicio. Larry is further survived by his siblings: Jackie Jones, Tondra Trull, Fredda Griffith, and Randy Lagua Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Alfredo Lagua and Virginia McAfee; his sister Tamara Lagua; and his nephews: Miguel Britt, Jason Griffith, and James Ramolete.

Funeral Services will be conducted by DeYoung Shoreline Chapel in North Stockton. Visitation is available Sunday, May 15th from 10:00AM – 5:00PM. The Vigil Rosary and Celebration of Life is on Sunday, May 15th at 5:00PM. Funeral Mass is on Monday, May 16th, 2016 at 10:00AM at The Church of the Presentation in Stockton. Committal will be at Cherokee Memorial Park and Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.
