Louis Lupe Gutierrez

Louis Gutierrez, born in Tamazula, Mexico, passed away in Stockton, California at the age of 93. Louis worked as a welder in the shipyards of San Francisco prior to serving in the United States Army Air Force during World War II and was a carpenter by trade until 1977. He was the beloved Husband of 67 years to the late Mary Castanon Gutierrez and loving Father to Richard(Joanne) Gutirrez, Tony Angeles and the late Theresa Guizar. Louis was the devoted Grandfather of 8 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great, Great Grandchildren. Louis was the dear brother of Albert and David and precede in death by siblings Joe, Tony, Dolores, Mary and parents Rafaela and Marcelino. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton, CA on Wednesday August 5th, 2015 at 6:30 pm. Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church on Thursday August 6th, 2015 at 10:00 am, interment will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
