Oleta V. Arnett

Oleta married Hargle Arnett on February 27, 1942 in Visalia, California. They moved to Stockton in the 1950’s. In addition to raising their 5 children in Stockton and being a homemaker, she also worked at several area convalescent homes as an aide. Although she was legally blind, she never let that get in her way of doing what needed to be done. She loved her family and loved the Lord and had a great sense of humor.

Oleta was preceded in death by her husband Hargle, son Oral Arnett, son-in-law Larry Rich, sister Evelyn Davis, and brother Euel Epperson. She is survived by her children: Paul (Shirley) Arnett, David (Esther) Arnett, Steven (Lori) Arnett, Arlene Rich, and daughter-in-law Linda Gale Arnett, in addition to her brother JD Epperson.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00am at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, located at 809 N. California St., Stockton, CA 95202. Graveside Service will be at Cherokee Memorial Park located at the corner of Harney Lane & Highway 99 in Lodi.
