He is survived by his wife, Ba Tran Thi Chau and their nine children Sang Hang, Denver Colorado; Tho Linh, Stockton, California; Xuan Luat, Stockton, California; Lan Tuan, Stockton, California; Tuan Annie, Garden Grove, California; Hai Y, Stockton, California; Hoa Michael, Rosemead, California; Quoc Lupita, Stockton, California; Maria Hoang, Stockton, California.

Ong Tran Dinh Hoa was born on May 15, 1941 in Quy Ha, Ha Tinh, Vietnam to Tran At and Tran Long. He was a Navy Seal in Da Nang, Vietnam from 1968 to 1975. In Da Nang, Vietnam he met his lifetime partner, Ba Tran Thi Chau and married on April 11, 1961.

In June, 1980 they came to America and started a new life for their family. He was a loving husband, caring father and a selfless grandfather who was always willing to go above and beyond for his family. He enjoyed fishing and being one with nature. He was an active and dedicated member of the catholic community.

A funeral is scheduled for 11 am Friday, July 22 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Father Hung will be officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ong Tran Dinh Hoa’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of your choice. The family would like to sincerely thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Ong Tran Dinh Hoa passed peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Stockton, California at the age of 81.
