Roger was a devoted Catholic, husband, father, friend, and an inspiration to youth. His smile was contagious, and he truly enjoyed family and parenting- a bit stern, but with a twinkle in his eye and a chuckle to himself. Very clever with his hands and able to fix anything, his favorite tool: duct tape. He duct-taped everything including the soles of his worn-out slippers and happily used them for years. Always busy with a project, at home or with the charities he supported. A jokester growing up, doing impersonations of movie stars at clubs and the Ted Mack radio show. As a young athlete he boxed, proudly served in the military, and later cycled, which he loved, and may have helped delay the onset of his Parkinson's.
