

Timothy Charles Gacer, 72, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Manteca, California. Born on June 9, 1952, in Oakdale, California, Timothy lived a life marked by dedication to his community, deep family bonds, and a vibrant spirit that touched all who knew him.
Timothy devoted 37 years of service to the San Joaquin County Human Services Department. His long-standing commitment to public service reflected his desire to help others and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around him.
He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and uncle—roles he embraced with warmth and enthusiasm. Timothy is survived by his wife Deborah, his sons Derek (Desiree) and Ian; grandsons Cameron and Ayden; brothers Thomas (Carol), Kevin (Janine), and Richard (Lisa); as well as extended family children Stacy (Juan) and Gabe. He also leaves behind grandchildren Cynthia (Nestor), Ashley (Jake), Gabriel, Michael (Lily), Tawnee (Joseph), Roman, Indee, Hanna, and Hailey; along with six great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Sally Gacer.
A man of many passions, Timothy found joy in golf, fishing, camping, bowling, and practicing escrima—a Filipino martial art that connected him to his heritage. His fun-loving nature made him the life of any gathering. Outgoing and boisterous with a generous heart, he was always ready with a helping hand or a hearty laugh.
May Timothy’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire kindness and joy in the lives he touched. A Visitation will be held on May 8, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 05:30 PM at De Young Memorial Chapel 601 N California Street. A Funeral Service will be held on May 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at De Young Memorial Chapel 601 N California Street
