

William Debudey Sr. 74, of Stockton passed away Friday at St. Joseph's hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Vienna Austria, and lived in Stockton for 57 years. Mr. Debudey retired after 40 years as sheet metal worker. William was an active member in the Stockton community: He was a cub master, soccer coach for SPYA soccer league, member of CYSA, referee for Sierra Valley, Certified FIFA referee, St. Linus Catechumen teacher and Choir member. Survivors: children Paula M. Tenscher, Salvador Debudey, William W. Debudey Jr., Heidi A. Debudey, and Noel A. Debudey. All of Stockton. Siblings Ellen and Doris Stapelton. 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, California, Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at St. Linus Catholic Church, 2620 S. B Street, Stockton beginning at 10:00 am. Committal services will be held at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
