Arthur Gordon Majeau

With great sadness, we announce the sudden death of Art Majeau at the age of 82 years. He died at home with his wife Marian at his side.

Art was raised on a farm near Rich Valley, Alberta, and lived most of his life near Stony Plain. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapshooter. He had a wonderful sense of humour. Art was kind and generous with his time and knowledge with everyone.

Art was an Electrician for his entire career, and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for nearly 60 years.

Art is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marian, and his daughters Lisa and Lindsay, sons-in-law Corey and Trevor, and grandchildren Grace, Keaton, Jack, and Ryder. He is also survived by sisters Elaine and Joyce and brothers Marvin and Donny, and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Doris Majeau, and his brother Glen Majeau. He will be lovingly remembered and much missed by many family members and dear friends.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held July 8, 2025 at 11:00 am, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Spruce Grove. Donations in memory of Arthur Majeau can be made to the Parkinson Association of Alberta or the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
