Barry is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Lorraine and their blended family: Glenda Quinney and her children Justin and Colby; Heather and Bob Manly and their children Denise and Adam; Brent and Kim Harrison and their children Kendra, Kayleigh and Brandon; Brenda and Bodie Shandro and their daughter Madison; Barrie Harrison and his daughters Jillian and Allison: two great grandchildren Mia and Seth; and two sisters Gail (Robert) Horn and Faye (Simon) Hoogstraten. Barry was predeceased by his parents Ogal and Hettie and brother George.
A private family celebration of Barry’s life will be held at a later time. Cremation has taken place. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 710-10123-99 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1.
The family wishes to also extend their thanks to the Westview Health Centre Hospice staff for their exceptional care shown to Barry.
