Charles Richard Critchley

Charles Richard (Rick) Critchley (53), of Spruce Grove, Alberta, unexpectedly passed away peacefully at the Misericordia Community Hospital on March 3, 2026, in the presence of his family. He was a keystone of his immediate family, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Amber, and their two children, Ryker and Anika (Ace), parents Ian and Agnes, older brother Pete, younger brother Dave, and children Brayden, Breanna, and Rayna, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Rick's strong moral and ethical compass led him into multiple fields as a cabinet maker, architect, general contractor, and home inspector. His physical, artistic, and creative capacity extended into his hobbies through a love of storytelling, D&D, miniatures, woodworking, and his lifelong interest in archery.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at the Misericordia Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
