

Cynthia (Cindy) Louise Whyte, age 61, passed away September 30th, 2020. She was born in 1959 in Vancouver, BC to the previously departed Armand and survived by Barbara Arsenault. She was married August 20th, 1977 in Whitehorse, Yukon to her best friend and love, Derek James Whyte.
Cindy is survived by her four children Venesa, Justin, Eric (Kristin) and Jerrid, her four grandchildren Mackenzie, Kashton, Abigail and Allison. Her siblings Deborah (Robert) Wren, Armand Arsenault Jr., Michelle (Doug) Brown, Arthur Arsenault and Nicole (Darrell) Bouvier, along with countless nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Cindy was a dedicated mother and grandmother and she especially treasured her role as “Bella” to her grandchildren. Cindy was genuine, caring and compassionate and worked hard to raise her children to recognize the value of hard work.
Cindy had many passions in life; she loved her dogs and horses and the ever-evolving cast of animals found on the acreage. Cindy was an avid gardener, quilter, and collector of various antique knickknacks. She could often be found in the kitchen cooking the next family dinner or on the phone with a cup of tea, deep in conversation with various friends and family.
In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her memory.
