It is with heavy hearts the family of Colin Casebeer announces his sudden passing on March 11, 2022 at the age of 60 in Stony Plain, Alberta. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Laura; his children, Mathew (Brittney) and Carley (Daniel); his granddaughters Charlotte and Elliot; his mother Joyce; his siblings Lori (Ron), Dwane (Donna) and Doug (Lynette); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Loyd and sister Joanne.
Colin was born in Innisfail, Alberta, as the youngest of five. In his youth, Colin enjoyed playing hockey, swimming, and other athletic pursuits. He was raised in various small towns across Alberta before settling in Edmonton and later retiring in Stony Plain.
Colin was thrilled to take early retirement after loyally serving his company for 30 years. After retirement, he and Laura enjoyed travelling across Canada in their motor home, exploring local campsites, and meeting new people.
Colin’s greatest joy was being Papa to his two beloved granddaughters. He was looking forward to introducing them to softball this spring and carrying on the family tradition.
For those wishing to honor Colin, he was an active supporter of Parkland Food Bank, (https://parklandfoodbank.org/), as well as Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society (https://infinitewoofs.com/) from where got his adored black lab, Karma.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ParklandFuneralServices.com for the CASEBEER family.
