George Leroy Lund Jr.

July 5, 1924 – May 10, 2013

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our Dear Papa, George LeRoy Lund Jr. of Darwell, AB on May 10, 2013 in Stony Plain, Alberta at the age of 88 years.

George’s love for life, lead his family to many exciting adventures around the world. He was a compassionate person who loved his family, and loved his work as a farmer. He leaves behind his loving wife, Anna, children John Lund (Lindsey), Dawn Clee (Don Ettinger), Hal Clee (Holly), Deanna Clee (Chris Moore); grandchildren Kristen (Matt), Kevin (Karlie), Robin, Tegan, Sophie, Leslee (Dani), Justeen; great grandchildren Hailey, Isabelle, Jace and Brielle and sister Alice Cooper. Pre-deceased by his parents George and Marie and sisters Francis Wilson and Dorothy Lornie. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake Isle Community Hall, Lake Isle, AB with Pastor Ron Wesley officiating. Inurnment to follow in the Darwell Community Cemetery, Darwell, AB.
