George Andrew McRann passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 81 years. George was born in Pouce Coupe, BC on May 16, 1944. George leaves to mourn his wife Sharon, his sons Devin and Aaron, his three grandchildren, Brandon, Erika and Andrew, his sisters Isabel Stang, Mary McRann (Maurice), and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Margaret and James McRann, his sister, Madelon, and brothers James and Brian McRann.
George loved his immediate and extended family, his acreage, trains, and driving school bus. He spent many weekends “chasing trains” with a friend and loved every minute of it and at one time had a fairly extensive model train setup in his basement. He was a fairly good handyman, and had a knowledge of many things.
George took the news of his cancer, his stroke and the move to a nursing home with grace. He had a definite mind of his own, but once he got to know you, he would do anything for you. He had a soft heart underneath his outer shell. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
