Herbert Joseph Reich

Herb will be lovingly remembered by his wife Charlene of 50 years; son Barney (Sheri) Reich; daughter Billie (Blair) McMurdo; grandchildren Presley and Marley Reich, Dylan and Lane McMurdo; his sister Shirley; brother Dave and all the friends he made throughout his years.

Herb was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan in 1947 and was raised on a farm in nearby Fillmore. He grew up as most small town Saskatchewan boys did. Working hard and playing harder. His love of hockey, baseball, golfing and generally all sports was carried with him throughout his lifetime. If he wasn't playing or coaching, he was watching.

In November of 1973 he married Charley and started their journey together. It was here in Fillmore where they acquired their nearest and dearest life-long friends. In 1979 with two small children they moved to Drayton Valley, Alberta to begin a new chapter. They raised their children and remained in Drayton Valley until 2016 when they decided to move to the Spruce Grove area to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Family was always Herb's number one priority.

Herb was a hardworking, fun-loving man who always wore his heart on his sleeve. He will be missed fondly and forever!
