John leaves behind his wife of 74 years Elizabeth Markin; daughters: Laverne (David) Waters, Betty (Gerry) Ordway, Tennette (Ivan) Dechkoff, and Angela (Stewart) Sutherland; son Barry (Donna) Markin; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. We love you Dad, may you rest in peace.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Society Stony Plain Care Centre for the excellent care they gave John.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this year.
