I'm deeply sorry to see my friend gone.  I tried to call him many times in the last year.  He was a kind and hard working soul.  I only knew him for about a year but he is missed. He was too young to go.

I just remember his big eyes, and  he was built like nobody’s business. Always reminded me of a gladiator warrior lol. His big smile, and voice higher pitched but enjoyable for me. He was pretty shy too. I was always impressed by his attention to detail when he was building things. Hottest guy I’ve ever seen I’ll be honest. Idk what it was about him he was special and is.  The first thing he said to me was “hi I’m Josh my name means Jesus” and I was like talk dirty to me aha. But first I said his name in a Chinese accent and I said it’s also Chinese then went into the facts about his name. I only did that because I was so nervous he talked to me. He might’ve been embarrassed but I was like ahh what do I do. He was always introspective and a deeper thinker he was very wise. Wherever Josh is I hope he’s at peace and creating and playing running through the fields and just jamming out. This world puts a lot of pressure on people, expectation and sometimes always being there for people creates the biggest loneliness. He deserved the best. I’d write every moment if I could. Every one. Most beautiful person I’ve ever met 💝

I met Josh when I was in BC. We spent the month he was at Joshua house together like glue. During the time he was there I was the monitor of the first cabin men come to, and I was able to give him his own room for most of his stay 😉🤣 
Being from Neerlandia/barrhead and having the same friends both in Neerlandia and parkland area, it was neat to have someone kinda familiar during a hard time. From morning devotions, to working out, and talking for hours about how I find 100-150 sheds a year, explaining who in neerlandia he has to get permission from,and him giving me advice on how to bow hunt properly( just not at his spot where there was always a buck “at least 200 inches” ) , we didn’t spend much time apart. It was an awesome thing to see when his eyes were opened to letting his ways go and taking Gods way in to his life. 

I am forever thankful for him. He is one of the most caring guys I’ve ever met. Many times from last summer to a few days before his passing, he would call me at random times weekly just to check in. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss that and boy did I take that for granted. 
Even through this, he gives me strength. God worked through him to minister some real knowledge, and encouragement as I was away from my family and friends. He could just sense if something was off. I just wish I could have gave some to him as well. 
Rough and tough exterior, but boy was he a lil softy haha.

Josh was an amazing person, sad to hear he’s no longer with us. Condolences to the family and friends. Heartbreaking such a beautiful soul isn’t here. Hard to believe really. You want to tell yourself it’s not real. I hope sierra has a home full of the love Josh gave her.

Words of sympathy feel inadequate in expressing grief and sorrow for a loss so great. Sending a warm embrace and empathy during this sad time.

I remember Josh as our neighbor and childhood friend of my son. He would sometimes come over to play and I'd often tell him he had the biggest smile ever; he was just such a happy go lucky boy. I am terribly sad to hear this and am wishing comfort to Josh's family and friends.
