I met Laura when she moved to Stony Plain and was a neighbor of mine. She was so friendly and a joy to talk to. I would see her walking her dog daily morning and evening. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, she was so proud of them. She would stop and talk to me almost every time  she was out walking.  Her and Colin sure loved going camping and traveling. Laura had such a good attitude and she talked about her children often.  She was very involved with the neighbours she even held the first summer block party. I miss  seeing and talking to her, a beautiful person. She enjoyed life to the fullest.

I am so sorry to hear of Laura's passing. She was a lovely lady and I considered her a friend always. Although we only met Laura in 2011 when we moved to Chabelos, we became fast friends. I had kept in touch with Laura even after they sold their property here. She was always a welcome guest and I will miss her. 
My sincere condolences to her children and grandchildren. She loved them above all else and never a conversation went by, when she didn't express strongly how incredibly proud she was of all of them. Even during the worst of times, her devotion to them never wavered.

I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to the family of  
Laura, especially to Carmen and Harry and immediate family. 
I am still in disbelief of hearing the loss of your beloved Sister. My thoughts and prayers are with you All and am truly saddened by this news.

We met Laura before she was married to your dad Bill. We enjoyed many Dinner Parties hosted by Bill's Parents.  Which included Sue Pechtel and Colin Casebeer.  She enjoyed talking about her Children and her beloved Granddaughters Charlotte and Elliot. Her kindness and warmth touched many lives.
In her memory we will be making donations to the  Pioneer Museum and Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society.

It is with a sad heart that I send my deepest sympathy, to you all on the sudden passing of Laura. I will treasure the many memories & laughs that we shared. It was January 1970, Kildare Elementary in Northeast Edmonton. The school staff were tired of finding me wandering, lost in the circular hallway looking for my next class. Laura was assigned to help me learn my way around. It was a good fit as we have been friends ever since.

My sincere condolences!  I worked with Laura for many years and we always enjoyed each other’s company.  Before Colin and Laura did their trip across Canada, they came over to our house and we had supper and told them about our trip across Canada and shared our experiences with them.  They were so excited to be able to travel in their new motorhome.  Rest in Peace Laura.
