Missed dearly by Debby (George), Doug (Carolin), Sally and Steven; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by Phyllis, his loving wife of 72 years. We are imagining their joyful reunion.
Born December 3rd, 1927 in Buford, Alberta (now Glen Park) to Edwin and Bertha Anderson. Lorne grew up on the family farm with sister Irene and brother Earl, all of whom passed before him. After his father’s passing, he bought the farm from his family. On June 1st, 1949 he married Phyllis, the love of his life.
After many moves and businesses, they settled in Spruce Grove and retired to Stony Plain. They spent many years volunteering for Westview Long Term Care and Stony Plain Horticulture Association.
We would especially like to thank ALL the staff at the Good Samaritan Care Centre (Cottages) where Dad resided for 4 years. He was so well cared for and loved by all.
Dad will always be remembered for the twinkle in his eye and the eternal prankster he was.
If so desired, donations may be made to Good Samaritan Care Centre, 4800-55 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 1P9 or to Light Up Your Life, 4405 South Park Drive, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 2M7.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ParklandFuneralServices.com for the Anderson family.
