Louise Annette Lemoine

Louise Annette Lemoine (nee: Forcade) of Wabamun, AB passed away at the age of 81, with her loved ones at her side. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, 4 children: Daniel (Susan) Lemoine, Therese (Walt) Tansowny, Elizabeth Lemoine-Patenaude, Adrien (Trish) Lemoine; and 9 grandchildren: Alex, Corinne, Megan (Adam), Amy, Kyle, Amanda, Jake, Chelsea and Kate. As well as 7 siblings: Roger, Lorette, Lillian, Laura, Lorraine, Marcel and Marie, and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Louise was predeceased by her parents, Estelle (Lavoie) and Napoleon (Forcade), and 2 siblings, Emile and Lucille.

Her life was full of adventure and she and Rick enjoyed touring North America in their RV, following the warm temperatures and sunshine, and visiting breathtaking landmarks along the way. She had a green thumb, and had a love of gardening, often with a colorful display of flowers for all to enjoy. An early introduction to square dancing provided their family many years of memories with this lively community, creating lifelong friendships. Camping at Jamborees each summer as a family was an annual tradition, and Rick and Louise continued to enjoy Square Dancing well into their golden years.

The last number of years for Louise have been spent in the care of the Stony Plain Good Samaritan Care Centre, who attended her every need after a turn in her health, and eventual dementia diagnosis made it difficult to remain at home. Her loving husband of 63 years, Rick would visit her daily, and has displayed the love, care and compassion of a marriage that spans 6 decades.
