He was born May 19, 1981 to Grace and Lorne Goshko in St. Albert.
Michael was smart, kind, and funny. He was always quick to make you laugh, and always willing to lend a hand in exchange for chocolate. He loved video games, dogs and spending time with those he loved at home.
In 2009, Michael met Maribel playing video games. They became best friends and eventually married in 2013. Despite, or because, they were both weirdos, they were inseparable and very much in love. They lived a quiet life full of love, laughter and small bickerings about what's for dinner in Spruce Grove.
Those he left behind were lucky to be loved by him and will feel his absence for years to come.
Michael is survived by his wife, Maribel, his parents, Lorne and Grace, his siblings, Nicole, Jen(John) Winder, Douglas(Dwon), and his nieces and nephews Avery Winder, Addison Goshko, Ewan Winder, and Edith Winder. Because he would want to know, it should be noted that he is also survived and very missed by his puppies, Tracer and Lina.
No service will be held because he would haunt his wife for making him the center of attention, but a small celebration of life will be held in July for close friends and family. Michael would still hate that, but his wife decided and said, "Come at me, bro."
Details on the celebration will be provided via Facebook once his wife gets herself together long enough to plan it.
