She was born to Willie and Rose Brulotte, the 3rd youngest of a family 11 children; Napolean, Antoine,
Alma, Medora, Rose, Henry, Romeo, Lea, Guy and Germaine. She is survived only by her close sister
Germaine.
Micheline joined the Sisters of Providence when she was 17 years old serving the Lord as Sister Callixte. Most of her service was in the capacity of running the Food Services in various hospitals in
Alberta and British Columbia. Her last posting was at St. Thérèse Hospital in St. Paul, Alberta. There she met Jean Paul Bouchard and decided to step away from the Sisters of Providence to be with him. They resided in St. Albert and she made a career as a Dietician at the St. Albert Hospital until she retired.
Her union to Paul also brought five children into her life: Jeanelle, Emil, Camile, Adrienne and Luc; nine
Grandchildren: Dominique, Real, Celeste, Rachel, Marc, Micah, Taylor, Alex and Sarah; and three great
Grandchildren: Koah, Kiero and Norah. Sadly her husband Paul became ill and passed away in 1991.
Micheline worked a little longer and helped commission the new St Albert Hospital Food Services. She retired making her home at Spring Lake where her grandchildren enjoyed visiting especially the weeks they stayed with her. Her door was always open to family and neighbours but especially for nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Micheline loved her flowers and gardening. She continued her loves when she built and moved to a home in Spruce Grove. Micheline loved her church family and was called Grandma, Mom and Auntie by some.
Getting older and requiring more assistance she then moved to St Albert’s River Ridge Seniors Home. There she lived out her last days. Micheline lived a full life of 91 years.
